Mrs. Way has been working with children for over 30 years, the past 22 in Montessori. She has a BS from Ithaca College and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education/ Montessori focus from Endicott College. She holds a RI Teaching Certificate for Pre-K - 3rd grade and is a Certified Montessori teacher for both Toddler and Primary through the North East Montessori Institute. She successfully completed Goldman Sachs' 10kSB program in 2024.
Maria Montessori was nominated for the Noble Peace Prize the three consecutive years before her death. She believed there could be world peace through her method with children. I love that and believe the prepared environment and purposeful materials bring out the unique innateness of each child, fostering a love of learning and bringing strengths to the world.
Mrs. Way has a grown son, two grown daughters, and third daughter who is a junior in college. Montessori of Greenwich Bay is Lynne’s life’s work but she spends time with family too. She loves to visit new places, exercise and be outside - especially at the ocean or mountains. She is in the process of completing NH's 48 4,000 footers and is writing a children’s book.

This is Ms. Anthony’s sixth year teaching in Primary 1 and she is excited for a year of learning and growth! She received a BA in Youth Development and has her Montessori Teacher certification through the North American Montessori Center.

Deanna loves the Montessori approach because it honors each child as an individual and supports their natural curiosity and development. She finds great joy in watching children build independence and confidence through meaningful, self-chosen work, and feels grateful to be part of their growth each day.
Outside of the classroom, she has a 17-year-old son and a 11-year-old daughter. They spend a lot of time at the baseball field, hockey rink, and dance studio. Fall is her favorite time of year because there are so many fun things to do! She looks forward to an amazing year in Primary 1.

She brings experience working with young children in educational and therapeutic settings, with a particular background in behavioral support and therapeutic integration.
Having attended Montessori school for seven years herself, Ms. Creta has a personal connection to the Montessori philosophy, and values the independence and confidence it encourages in children. Her background in psychology and behavior studies, also helps her support children as they develop emotional and social skills.
Ms. Creta is passionate about creating an environment where children feel safe and confident enough to grow and thrive independently.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Creta enjoys reading, traveling, backpacking and being at home with frat Marmaduke.

Ms. Gautie is beyond excited to be in her sixth year as a teacher at MGB! She first received a BFA from URI with a concentration in painting. She started teaching art to young children, fell in love with working with them, and returned to school for teaching.

She holds a second Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from RIC with a Teaching Certificate Pre-K to 2nd, as well as a Montessori Assistant Overview Certificate. Emma appreciates the Montessori approach for its self-directed learning and expression of self in a prepared environment. She loves supporting the independent growth and confidence of each child through meaningful work while providing a peaceful presence.
Ms. Gautie has settled in North Smithfield with her husband and two poodles. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys her time painting, reading, gardening, playing disc golf, and spending time with family.

A lifelong resident of South Kingstown, Rhode Island, Caroline enjoys gardening, birdwatching, and spending time with her two kitties, Cosmo and Stella, when she’s not in the classroom.

She brings nearly 4 years of childcare experience, particularly with Toddlers, as well as 20 years of homeschooling experience. These have provided extensive experiences working with different learning styles and curriculum, and have deepened her understanding and strengthened her passion for helping children learn and grow. She was actively involved in her church community which expanded her love of education and people.

Ms. Hulseman is a support to our Green Room children. She holds a Master’s in Education and is licensed in general education, special education, and reading in both Illinois and Rhode Island. She has experience in middle school, adult education, and early childhood Montessori.

Through her experience with Montessori, Ms. Hulseman loves helping children develop independence, self-advocacy, and ownership of their learning.
A recent East Greenwich resident, she is a parent of several children, including grandchildren who attend a bilingual French/English Montessori in southern Massachusetts.

Ms. Rubenstein joined the Toddler team as a Co-Teacher in March 2024. Liz graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood with a with a concentration in Community Programs Birth - 5 years. She also holds a Montessori Infant/Toddler Teaching Certification through the North American Montessori Center. In addition, Liz teaches sign language to the Toddler House children.
Liz was drawn to Montessori because of how closely aligns with her own approach to early childhood education. She especially values the thoughtfully prepared environment, the respect shown for each child as an individual, and the emphasis on independence and hands on learning. She enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences that courages exploration, builds confidence and develops a life long love of learning.
Residing in Providence RI, with her fiancé, Liz is an avid horse rider, visiting and riding her horse in Hope Valley, RI multiple times each week. She previously taught horseback riding for 8 years to children ages 4-13. Liz also loves plants and enjoys caring for her collection at home. In her spare time, she loves painting her nails and tending to plants.
